Situated between two popular marinas, this beautifully manicured park is popular place to catch the SS Badger coming or going from port, watch the sunset over Lake Michigan, view the public art or enjoy the playground. However, brides and grooms have found this park to be a perfect backdrop for their special day.

Ranked by USA Today Travel (2013) as one of the Top 51 Beaches in America, this sugar sand beach is a great place for a beach wedding. Two accessible walkways make it convenient for all of your guests to make it to the water's edge of Lake Michigan for your special event.

You may not have thought about a historic village being one of your top choices for wedding venues, but take it from us: This place has the perfect chapel on sight for a rustic-chic or vintage-style wedding. The chapel can hold a small group indoors, but if the sun is shining, we recommend setting up the ceremony outside on the hill just in front of the chapel.

If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor space for your wedding, Barothy Lodge should be on your list. Located on the banks of the Pere Marquette River, the property also has a pond on site and endless backdrops of natural forest and greenery. There is also a large lodge for your reception on site as well. And the best part, your whole family and guests can stay on-site and make a vacation out of it.
6. Ludington State Park Amphitheater
Ludington is home of one of Michigan's top state parks and is nestled between Lake Michigan, Hamlin Lake and Big Sable River. The outdoor amphitheater at the state park is a great ceremony location if you are looking for open air wedding in a wooded setting. Access to the beach and other scenic areas make this location ideal of unique photo opportunities.
