If you’re looking for a way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, friends in Pure Ludington can help! There are some events and activities in the works that will provide ways for you to enjoy the holiday alone or with someone special.
Love Yourself
Take a break from your busy work schedule and treat yourself to a time of relaxation and meditation. Ludington Bay Brewing Company is hosting PiYo & a Pint on Saturday, Feb. 17. This is a 50-minute Power Yoga class – and afterward, you get to enjoy a pint of your favorite beer on tap. Salute!
Take a Cooking Class
Learn to make homemade pasta with Corinn VanWyck, traveling sage personal chef, during her interactive dinner-party style workshop at Ludington Area Center for the Arts. The Feb. 22 “Ricotta Stuffed Ravioli” workshop will include traditional ricotta-filled ravioli and a plant-based option of herbed tofu. Students will also make simple sauces.
Enjoy Live Music
This is the perfect time to get out of the house and see a great band! Catch the Charles Millard Band at the Mitten Bar on Feb. 10; Cold Chocolate at Ludington Area Center for the Arts on Feb. 17; Joe Stickney at Jamesport Brewing Company on Feb. 16; or Jackie Daniels at Ludington Bay Brewing on Feb. 16.
Get Creative
House & Harbor in Downtown Ludington offers a unique experience in creating your own scented candle at its candle bar. Relax and choose or create your own scent to make something beautiful! Of course, this stop also has candles for sale and has curated a new scent just for Valentine’s Day that blends sea salt, plum, amber, dark musk, and sandalwood.
Plan a Romantic Dinner
Stix or Timbers Prime will provide an intimate setting for a Valentine’s Day dinner, and The Blu Moon Bistro will not only serve a wonderful dinner but also showcase an evening of short plays (Feb. 9-11, 16-18)!
For a more casual vibe, visit one of our Pure Ludington breweries or eateries. Check their Facebook pages for information on holiday specials!
