7th Annual Festival Brings an Afternoon of Revelry to the Lakeshore
Enjoy a bit of Michigan’s finest winter magic at the Pure Ludington Brrrewfest, returning to this quaint lakeshore town on January 29. This is a sure cure for the winter blues: Put on your warmest long underwear, gather your friends and hustle to Legacy Plaza for an afternoon of sipping!
Here, you will find crafters from 20 Michigan breweries, a warming tent, festival food and a rockin’ entertainment stage. Sample beer, cider, wine and mead from 1-6 p.m.
Music will be provided by W-MOM deejay, Chris Nicholas, delivering a rounded mix of dance tunes to the delight of festival-goers. And you won’t want to miss the fun selection of specialty dogs from Lakeside Wiener Wagon.
Tickets are available now and must be purchased online. Grab yours now for just $35. All tickets include 6 drink tokens for 6 samples; additional tokens will be for sale on site.
Looking for other things to do in Ludington? Check out one of our local breweries, Ludington Bay Brewing Company or Jamesport Brewing. Hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are favorite activities at the state park. Or you might try fat-tire biking with the rental from one of our local bicycle shops. If you’re in search of lodging in the Ludington area, a list of accommodations can be found here.
**Proceeds from this event benefit Friends of the Ludington State Park, a non-profit volunteer group that cares for the local park. The Friends group adds programs, activities and volunteer support where needed for items not traditionally funded by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. This year’s endeavor is to raise funding for an all-terrain vehicle for use by people with disabilities who visit the park.
