Music will be provided by DJ, Chris Nicholas, who will deliver a rounded mix of dance tunes to the delight of festival-goers. You won’t want to miss the amazing chicken and pretzels from Cluck Bucket or the fun selection of specialty dogs from Lakeside Wiener Wagon.

Attendees may enjoy all of the festivities from 1-6 p.m., and warm up by the fire in the plaza or take advantage of the warming tent available on site.

Among the participating crafters are some of Ludington’s very own: Jamesport Brewing Co., Ludington Bay Brewing Co., and Love Wines. Other West Michigan notables include Big Hart Brewing, Farmhaus Cider, North Channel Brewing Company, and Trail Point Brewing Company.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Friends of the Ludington State Park. The Friends group hosts programs and activities, and adds volunteer support where needed at Ludington State Park for items that are not traditionally funded by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

Volunteers work closely with Ludington State Park’s management team to identify needs and implement solutions. The group’s most recent project was the addition of an all-terrain track chair that allows people of all abilities to get around the park, including the beaches. Representatives are eyeing the purchase of a second track chair in the future, and fundraisers like Brrrewfest are vital to make this happen. The group also hopes to add a Hamlin Beach Walkway, as well as beach mobility chairs, in 2023.
