The outbreak and spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) has altered everyone’s behaviors, including leisure activities like travel. Tourism is Ludington’s largest industry, responsible for 1,549 total jobs in Mason County, generating $26.93 million in direct annual wages and $43 million in total labor income. In addition to the health risk of COVID-19, the economic impact could be devastating to vacation communities like Ludington if the outbreak continues.
We appreciate you and ask that you throw some love to Ludington from afar until you can visit us again.
Delay (don’t cancel) your trip
Do you have a Ludington visit planned this spring that you want to cancel? Before you do, please consider postponing your trip. Talk to your lodging establishment and ask if they can help you rebook your room at a later time.
