Biking, Hiking, Kayaking Ludington Outdoor Recreation

The Ludington area is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise. Mason County's four-season climate offers nearly endless opportunities to experience nature in its simplest form.

Ludington State Park, one of Michigan top parks, offers 5,300-acres of some of the best hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, fishing and more. This year-round park is mecca for outdoor enthusiasts. In the winter, you'll find outdoor activities that will enliven you, like cross-country skiing and snowshoeing through the Lake Michigan dunes, or taking in the snow-covered trails by foot.

Closer to downtown Ludington, Cartier Park and the Ludington School Forest offers groomed trails for fat tire biking as well as winter hiking and snowshoeing.

Whatever outdoor adventure you are looking to enjoy, you can find it here in Pure Ludington!
