Following the Civil War, many veterans came to Michigan and started new lives. Amber Township was an epicenter for many of those men and several of them are buried at Towns Cemetery. Learn the story of these settlers who were instrumental in forming a vigorous community.
This guided tour of Towns Cemetery highlights the lives, struggles, and legacies of the men who came to Michigan after the war.
