Pure Ludington Sunset Beach Bonfire

Known for beautiful beaches and stunning sunsets, the Sunset Beach Bonfire Series is a way to celebrate it all. On the last Thursday of June, July and August, you are invited to bring your beach chairs and blankets to Stearns Park Beach to enjoy a true Up North evening that includes a bonfire, music and, of course, a beautiful sunset.

Mark your calendars for these upcoming events in 2024:

• June 26 – Featuring the Petoskey Steel Drum Band
  The Petoskey Steel Drum Band brings a unique sound to events all over Michigan. This group of about 40 students performs a blend of Caribbean steel drum music with contemporary tunes. The combination of exciting rhythms and vocals captivates audiences and creates a refreshing experience for everyone!
• July 31 – Featuring Steely
  Ravon Rhoden has established himself as one of the most innovative and vital voices in modern reggae. Born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica, his music pays tribute to legends like Bob Marley and Dennis Brown, while pushing the genre into bold new territory. He is the first major reggae artist to accompany his vocals on the steel drum, an instrument which gives him his signature sound.
• August 28 – Featuring Tim Krause
  Join guitarist and vocalist, Tim Krause, who will set a tone for a relaxing evening on the beach. Krause is a musician born and raised in Michigan. He brings a fresh feeling to the classics, drawing inspiration from the 70s. He has recorded two albums and has been playing solo acoustic shows for the past 25 years. Tim says, “It never gets old and I love the interaction of a live audience and just being able to provide a little escape from our daily routines.”

Celebrate summer with golden sands, cool water, warm fire and beautiful sky. Sunset Bonfires are open to the public and free to attend, from 8-10 PM.
