Come together as a community and embrace Historic White Pine Village’s golden anniversary! For one day only, admission will be FREE for everyone! Get here right away for coffee and cookies from 10 to 10:30 before we begin a wonderful day of celebration. Hear speakers discuss the history of the Village and how it came to be. Enjoy patriotic music as we also celebrate America’s 250^th! Finally, enjoy the unveiling of the renewed Fire Barn and Blacksmith Shop exhibits! As a special treat, all guests can get a ticket for one free scoop of ice cream. Enjoy historical demonstrations, fun music, and tasty treats as we celebrate the community that has been around us since the beginning of the Village 50 years ago.

• • 9:30-11 a.m. – Donuts, muffins and juice will be available to visitors.
  • 11 a.m. – noon – Anniversary ceremony with reflections on the past and a look ahead, and the unveiling of new exhibits at the Phoenix Fire Barn and Blacksmith Shop as well as a new Heritage Trail with markers at multiple buildings throughout the village.
  • 12-3 p.m. – Hands-on historical experiences such as an ice cream social, vintage games, craft demonstrations, sawmill operations, and flint knapping, with the village open all afternoon for exploration and engagement with staff and docents.
